Michigan Diagnostic Pathologists currently is seeking qualified board certified pathologists to perform surgical pathology on a locums tenens basis. Our practice is located in the City of Southfield in the Metropolitan Detroit area. We compensate in a competitive fashion. The workload averages 40 small biopsy cases a day. Our needs are for a pathologist who can fill in for one or a few days at a time as well as to cover for longer vacation periods. While are needs are primarily for a general surgical pathologist, we would particularly value a pathologist with subspecialty expertise in dermatopathology, or in gastrointestinal or genitourinary pathology.
